Perfectionism is a common goal when speaking.
How can you overcome the trauma of having to be perfect each time you speak?
Perfectionists tend to notice only their problems and errors when they speak. Perfectionists frequently ignore their positive speaking behaviors.
They think they must speak perfectly every time.
They often think that others can speak well but think that they never will.
These thoughts are ridiculous! Don’t allow yourself to be tormented by foolish expectations.
There are many things you do at work that must be done perfectly. Speaking is not one of them!
