Still need to be Perfect?
- The only evaluation that counts is that people received your information.
- Try for an excellent presentation, not a perfect one.
- Put your attention on others instead of continually analyzing yourself and your actions. Think how you can make others more comfortable. Be interested in them.
- Admit when you've made a mistake and are wrong. It is much easier to be a normal human than to always feel less than others because you haven't reached an unnecessary and unrealistic goal.
- When you are doing new material, mistakes are normal and expected.
- Keep your accomplishments in mind. It is very easy to keep only the mistakes in mind-don't fall into that trap. Appreciate that what you have done before required skills that will come through for you again.
