Be prepared for typical workplace occurrences.
Why be surprised by circumstances that are typical and repetitive in the workplace? Act them out ahead of time with colleagues and friends and prepare for how you will handle situations that you see as performances.
For example:
Number One is public speaking. Number Six is fear of dying.
People would apparently rather be the corpse than deliver the eulogy!
